The sun was hot and air still as Taya Kyle balanced the hammer in one hand while bracing a nail with the other.
Kyle, widow of “American Sniper” Chris Kyle, arrived in work clothes Thursday afternoon on the construction site at 3506 Swan Drive. Kyle was there to help Habitat for Humanity volunteers build a house and fresh start for recipient Kinsey Layton.
