Colton Kyle

Colton Kyle is a speaker, entrepreneur, and son of Chris Kyle, the “American Sniper.” On February 2, 2013, when Colton was eight years old, his father was murdered by a man he was trying to help. What followed was a string of compounding losses: lawsuits, family losses, and sudden change, all while a film about his family’s life rose to global fame around them.

Colton’s message is not that he survived it. It is what he did with it. He has forgiven the man who murdered his father. Not as a feeling and not in a single moment, but through what he calls ten thousand small moments. That work is the foundation of everything he speaks on.

Colton speaks from three convictions earned the hard way:

Your past is not your purpose. 
Forgiveness is not absolution. It is cutting the chain. Colton has carried this message into San Quentin and the Tarrant County Jail, to men who are being asked to do the very thing he has already done.

Grief and gratitude coexist. 
“Through adversity, through fire, gold is refined.” Colton does not ask audiences to choose between honoring their loss and living well. He shows them how to hold both.

 Colton carries the most recognized name in modern military history. He speaks to anyone shaped by a legacy, an expectation, or a past they did not choose, about becoming who they were made to be.

Today, Colton runs the American Sniper Brand on five core pillars: Godliness, Patriotism, Passion, Service, and Excellence, with a portion of proceeds supporting the Taya and Chris Kyle Foundation. He considers his business and his speaking his ministry. He is married to his wife, Kerry, and lives in Dallas, Texas. He is passionate about apologetics and honest conversations about faith with believers and unbelievers alike.
