Colton Kyle is a young entrepreneur working to uphold his father’s legacy. His father is Chris Kyle, “American Sniper,” who was killed in 2013 when Colton was just eight years old.

During the aftermath of his father’s brutal murder by a person his father was trying to help, Colton, his younger sister, and his mother experienced a string of compounding traumatic events with lawsuits, family losses, and a series of unexpected changes, all while a movie about their lives starring Bradley Cooper and directed by Clint Eastwood, was rising to fame around the globe. 

Colton learned about leaning into his faith, strengthening his bond with his mother and sister as they all grieved differently, resilience, perseverance, what it means to have a legacy, and, significantly, finding joy through tragedy. He has found a way to practice discipline in a distracted world, weather storms, balance friendships changing for reasons in and out of his control and accept the things he cannot change. 

Now, Colton runs American Sniper on five core pillars: Godliness, Patriotism, Passion, Service, and Excellence. He considers his business and speaking as his ministry. Colton is passionate about growing the community of faithful patriots by encouraging resilience, perseverance, and the determination of all people to show up for others. He aims to inspire others to dig deeply within themselves to find their strength through inevitable challenges to be the best they can be. Colton has seen and experienced the triumphs and tribulations of life in intimate ways that allow him to assuredly and confidently help others see how their lives (personal, business, and spiritual) can be changed by living out the five core pillars in intentional and meaningful ways. Colton has also seen people of all ages who accept the pillars and do not. He knows and will help others see that they are never too old or too young to make impactful changes. 

Colton is in a committed relationship in a secular world based on his faithfulness and experiences with God through hard times. He is passionate about apologetics and conversational understanding of the Bible with unbelievers and believers alike. Colton looks forward to growing the American Sniper brand as he builds upon the name and legacy of his father.
