A Veteran of the Iraq War with more than 400 combat flight hours, Adam transitioned from military service into nonprofit leadership, public policy advocacy, and executive consulting. He is a co-founder of the Warrior Angels Foundation, co-author of the best-selling book Tales From the Blast Factory, and serves as Director of Operations for the Veteran Mental Health Leadership Coalition, advancing research, policy reform, and access to innovative mental health care for Veterans and their families.
Adam has testified before the United States Senate and multiple state commissions, and is a frequent media contributor on leadership under pressure, trauma-informed systems, and ethical innovation. He is also a co-host of Tango Alpha Lima, the official podcast of The American Legion and is an internationally sought-after speaker for conferences, policy forums, and leadership gatherings.
A native Texan, Adam moved to Fort Rucker, Alabama, after graduating from Texas Christian University. While in flight school, he met his wife Alycia, marrying before he deployed to Iraq in 2009. They now live in Slocomb, Alabama, with their three children.
