Andrew’s Story

First and foremost, thank you guys for what you do and thank you guys for your service!

My story starts late February, 2018, I had just gotten to a position in my life where I had started to get my things together. I had just purchased a new vehicle & just gotten a promotion at my job.
On February 20th, I was fired from my job (due to lack of communication and teamwork from the other members of management of the place I was working.)
On the 26th I was in a bad car accident (Flipped and rolled my new Dodge Durango.) I came out of the accident with only minor cuts and bruises. However, when the emergency services were on their way, there was a woman who was screaming as if she watched me die in this car accident (she wasn’t involved in the accident.) If you are accused of the accident and arrested for DUI charges, you can contact an experienced attorney who can help you out of the situation. You can Learn More Here about DUI defense lawyers.

Every single day for the next 4 months, I could hear her screaming, as if she was standing next to me, screaming for her life, into my ear. During this time I had gotten a job, then was let go 2 months later due to a physical restriction. I was in a bad place mentally. I would sleep about 45 minutes to 2 hours a night (because of the screaming.) I was getting ready to take my own life when a friend of mine told me to go to a mental health center. They had walk-ins on Tuesdays. I went in as soon as they opened the front doors and they took amazing care of me, they started me on EMDR therapy which was an incredible help. I could sleep again. I didn’t hear the screaming in my head. It wasn’t an overnight thing, it took months. I had gone the highest point in my life to the absolute lowest. I still struggle with some stuff, but I know that if I lived through the absolute hell I went through, I can make it through anything.
