Amputee Ironman

Team Never Quit, I am writing to you on behalf on my great friend and veteran, Eric McElvenny. While serving our country in Afghanistan, Eric stepped on an IED and lost his right leg below the knee. He has embraced the changes and challenges that he was faced with, and now is on pace to break the amputee Ironman World Record. He has motivated so many people to not use excuses and strive for greatness. Eric inspired a large group of our friends to take a long journey and bike from Pittsburgh, PA all the way to Washington, D.C. It was a brutal trip, both physically and mentally, but his leadership skills kept us pushing through to the end!
